‘Ears, bows and pukka pose’ more hot press paper put through paces!

Its Friday night, yippee,  the weekend is here, chilled evening finishing this ink and wash which I stared the other day, and putting the hot press paper through its paces. Super cute little girl fashioning some unusual ears! What could be better for me, animal meets girl, I don’t think they are hare ears, but more cute bunny…ahhhhhhhh!

About REcreate-RebeccaEvansCreate

My name is Rebecca Evans, living in the New Forest I have been inspired to paint the many animals often seen around me. Having ridden since Childhood, painting equines was a natural path to follow. I use a variety of media, watercolour, oil, charcoal, pastel, inks, plus a few more, infact I will try most things. Choosing the medium to work with can really change the effect of the art, and therefore the character of the animal. Sometimes it is an instant decision, sometimes it is the mood from within me which determines which medium I choose to use. I never know what might inspire me next, but if it’s hairy, I will be sure to try.

    • Thank you Teri, the hair is easy really, especially when ink is used…..I will get bored of ink soon and go back to normal coldpress….I will try the ink out on coldpress, it’s ok, but might try our some different makers of watercolour paper to see how the ink takes, it’s best on smooth, but this is not great for the WC paint…some other makes of paper may work better than the coldpress I have tried in the past??
