About REcreate-RebeccaEvansCreate
My name is Rebecca Evans, living in the New Forest I have been inspired to paint the many animals often seen around me. Having ridden since Childhood, painting equines was a natural path to follow.
I use a variety of media, watercolour, oil, charcoal, pastel, inks, plus a few more, infact I will try most things. Choosing the medium to work with can really change the effect of the art, and therefore the character of the animal. Sometimes it is an instant decision, sometimes it is the mood from within me which determines which medium I choose to use.
I never know what might inspire me next, but if it’s hairy, I will be sure to try.
So sweet!

I had to do this one Charlie, it was planning what to do which was tricky, dogs are so funny when they look quilty, like they have done something wrong…even when they haven’t at times, lol

I know!! I love that look… it’s so endearing. On dogs… on people it doesn’t work as well. lol

Thanks Cathe, I love photos which show off large features, I guess that’s what pulled me in.

I am with Jacob and his ‘absurdly good’ reaction–it is stunning, absolutely stunning. There is such personality given off by this painting, like we already know the subject personally.

Thank you lance, the main thing for me was that it was so much fun to paint, helped by the character of the dog.
