I have been busy this weekend painting my submission to the multiple sclerosis trust, secret art show. My art pack arrived on Friday, it consisted of the instructions, two 12×12 cm watercolour card pieces ( I don’t think I have ever painted so small) and a sheet for me to fill in my details. Now I can’t show you my finished piece, as ……it’s a secret! But as soon as it’s sold (fingers crossed that it does sell) I will then post my work. For now I will show you a horse I did in sepia liquid pencil, and watercolour.

Watercolour and sepia liquid pencil ‘Purlieu’

About REcreate-RebeccaEvansCreate
My name is Rebecca Evans, living in the New Forest I have been inspired to paint the many animals often seen around me. Having ridden since Childhood, painting equines was a natural path to follow.
I use a variety of media, watercolour, oil, charcoal, pastel, inks, plus a few more, infact I will try most things. Choosing the medium to work with can really change the effect of the art, and therefore the character of the animal. Sometimes it is an instant decision, sometimes it is the mood from within me which determines which medium I choose to use.
I never know what might inspire me next, but if it’s hairy, I will be sure to try.
Congrats! Wonderful news and wonderful “Purlieu” portrait! So happy for you Rebecca

Laura you are so kind……. I can’t wait to see all of the art when the sale opens, many famous artists contribute work, each piece is unnamed ( until purchased) and all sell for £45.00 so the MS trust really benefits. I have heard they will all be available on eBay this year?? having never participated before I am not entirely sure how it works. It feels great donating a painting, I can’t afford to financially donate, but I can in my time, ( and hopefully my skill)😀
