Ginge has had to put up with me using him for a model again. I have had a busy evening of painting, I have nearly completed some more horse paintings ( plus one trial using unconventional products, it didn’t work great, but I will still post tomorrow, when it is dry- you will have to wait in suspense until then) I began a hare painting, for a change I have featured two of the brown big eared creatures. For now, as I am off to bed, here is another of Ginge, the ginger Norwegian forest cat, this time in pastel pencils.

About REcreate-RebeccaEvansCreate
My name is Rebecca Evans, living in the New Forest I have been inspired to paint the many animals often seen around me. Having ridden since Childhood, painting equines was a natural path to follow.
I use a variety of media, watercolour, oil, charcoal, pastel, inks, plus a few more, infact I will try most things. Choosing the medium to work with can really change the effect of the art, and therefore the character of the animal. Sometimes it is an instant decision, sometimes it is the mood from within me which determines which medium I choose to use.
I never know what might inspire me next, but if itβs hairy, I will be sure to try.
Love it.

Thank you Laura, pastel is very gentle and dreamy, I am happy with this one, just realised I have forgotten to do his green eye! Lol late night and light bulbs, completely missed my mistake.
