I had a great schooling session with Woody today, I bought the bombers bit which was on trial from the bit bank. Having a big fat tongue, he loves their happy tongue bit, and so do I, with huge improvements in his school work. He just needs to come off my leg a lot better! Off to the equestrian shop tomorrow, after riding as my daughter needs new wellies, just as exciting as visiting the art shop!
I was so happy I decided to paint this ‘Dun and dusted’ I have painted him before, but in whole body, and I usually alter the colour to suit me, and my mood of the moment, he was grey, I thought about making him bay, then decided he should be a shade of dun! The beauty of painting, is that it is what I choose (most of the time).

Absolutely beautiful, Rebecca – so soft and majestic.

Thank you, wet on wet, apart from the eye, and some of the nose, it does make it softer and more dreamy I think….I am surprised I managed to put the brushes down, as I usually can’t stop myself by placing extra hair once it is dry. I should learn from this?
