Christmas cards 2015-horse theme

This week has been a struggle, I had an abscess in my jaw bone, ouch! Isn’t even strong enough to explain the pain, followed by a fever, double whammy. To the rescue with antibiotics and I am on the road to recovery.

So my Christmas cards this year for horsey friends, feature the new joy crafts sports horse dies, and I love them, one jumping and one dressage. I also used the memory box framed fence die, which compliments perfectly. I really wasn’t up to to much intricacy this year, but the dies made my job easy.

Between cards and feeling poorly I have 8 unfinished paintings to try and complete, hopefully before Christmas, or/ and during the few days festive break.

About REcreate-RebeccaEvansCreate

My name is Rebecca Evans, living in the New Forest I have been inspired to paint the many animals often seen around me. Having ridden since Childhood, painting equines was a natural path to follow. I use a variety of media, watercolour, oil, charcoal, pastel, inks, plus a few more, infact I will try most things. Choosing the medium to work with can really change the effect of the art, and therefore the character of the animal. Sometimes it is an instant decision, sometimes it is the mood from within me which determines which medium I choose to use. I never know what might inspire me next, but if it’s hairy, I will be sure to try.

Poor you. Hope you’re feeling better. I am amazed you felt able to pick up a brush.
