Fancy adding some bling to a watercolour? Glitter crazy bling. A fun technique, let yourself free, add as much colour as you like, flick the paint like you don’t care, then as if that fun wasn’t enough out with the glitter. Just too much fun ……oh but did I mention the cleaning up? Well that glitter hangs around for weeks, oh I wish I had a studio, my poor living room took a beating for this…worth it I think. 😀

Oh yes you should, they are so therapeutic as no thought needed, I often do these with patients at work, and the end up hung as star pieces in their lounge….start with a background, sky, sun if you like and green at the base, let dry, then start painting , flicking paint, sprinkle with glitter at this stage if using acrylic, leave if watercolour. Once dry add flowers, again if acrylic glitter before dry , just shake it on, it sticks! Once dry, add more grass, flicking etc, glitter, dry, more flowers, glitter, dry, grass….etc, until you want to stop, if watercolour, once dry add glitter glue to all areas you wish, for me that’s everywhere 😀 masterpiece complete, happy dayz!

Try in acrylic first it easier, loose glitter is all you need, your colour choice, if the sun is too difficult then leave it out, just a blue, pink pastel sky, at around half way start painting green, so basically the canvas is half sky half green grass. That’s the hard bit, and you can use a paint roller from the diy stores to do that bit….the rest was as I explained above, most important ingredient is FUN 😀😀😀
