This was so much fun to create. ‘3 a me goes’ is from reference photos courtesy of sktchy app, in particular I would like to thank Elizabeth Lapsley, the creator and model of the portrait reference. It took a while for me to finish this one, as I seem to flit from one painting to the next, eventually last night I set to completing it. It is 30×40 cm 200lb coldpress, using watercolour, ink and polychromos pencils, I hope you can see how much fun this was ๐.

About REcreate-RebeccaEvansCreate
My name is Rebecca Evans, living in the New Forest I have been inspired to paint the many animals often seen around me. Having ridden since Childhood, painting equines was a natural path to follow.
I use a variety of media, watercolour, oil, charcoal, pastel, inks, plus a few more, infact I will try most things. Choosing the medium to work with can really change the effect of the art, and therefore the character of the animal. Sometimes it is an instant decision, sometimes it is the mood from within me which determines which medium I choose to use.
I never know what might inspire me next, but if itโs hairy, I will be sure to try.
very cool….those drips merge to make it so interesting.

Thanks Margaret, it’s strange trying to control drips, luckily for me they did behave quite well ๐

Thank you, I really need to put this idea to a horse, just worried it may appear to float in air…I guess I will have to try ๐
