‘Babble’hound watercolour in stages

I finished ‘babble’ today, and for the first time I remembered to take photos at a few stages during the painting process. The drag hunting season has started here in the UK, the sight and sound of the hunt across the countryside is so iconicallyย ย british. The traditions of yesteryear continue with a laid scent, since the ban on fox hunting…..

….The foxes can breath with a sigh of relief.

About REcreate-RebeccaEvansCreate

My name is Rebecca Evans, living in the New Forest I have been inspired to paint the many animals often seen around me. Having ridden since Childhood, painting equines was a natural path to follow. I use a variety of media, watercolour, oil, charcoal, pastel, inks, plus a few more, infact I will try most things. Choosing the medium to work with can really change the effect of the art, and therefore the character of the animal. Sometimes it is an instant decision, sometimes it is the mood from within me which determines which medium I choose to use. I never know what might inspire me next, but if itโ€™s hairy, I will be sure to try.

Babble is gorgeous. Another charming one, Rebecca! The fur is so invitingly soft and real – as it always is, here! – I want to reach out and give her a good stroke. ๐Ÿ™‚
