‘You scream, I scream’ ink and watercolour

Back to a portrait today, another great Sktchy app reference photo, this one jumped…or should I say screamed  out at me to paint, maybe because I feel like standing in a field and screaming very loadly, how much fun, to just let out all the stress that way…I will settle with painting to release any stress the day has left me with.

About REcreate-RebeccaEvansCreate

My name is Rebecca Evans, living in the New Forest I have been inspired to paint the many animals often seen around me. Having ridden since Childhood, painting equines was a natural path to follow. I use a variety of media, watercolour, oil, charcoal, pastel, inks, plus a few more, infact I will try most things. Choosing the medium to work with can really change the effect of the art, and therefore the character of the animal. Sometimes it is an instant decision, sometimes it is the mood from within me which determines which medium I choose to use. I never know what might inspire me next, but if it’s hairy, I will be sure to try.

I rather want to try that standing in a field thing myself, likewise that rather more expressive painting style whereby you just throw splatters madly at the canvas (and surrounding area!). This little character is, I feel, doing the expressing for all of us – emphatically captured!

  3. You captured that scream quite well, a little scream now and then is good for some cleansing 😉

  4. Therapeutic ~ painting and ice cream. Painting and screaming less calories. Anyway, this is great – I can hear her !

Well done Rebecca!! I can’t help but wonder what she is screaming for. If only we could all scream and get it over with eh? That would get rather loud. I much prefer the quietude of painting and creating.
