It’s day 19, yippee, I am feeling happy, so far I have stuck with it, I really thought I would only make it to a week, determination is paying off. Today’s post prompted me to go with fun and fast, not because of a time limit, but because I wanted to. I used a permanent pen, and scribbled the base image of the cow, I did not want to worry about exact lines, I then shaded in a rough haphazard scribble, so much fun. Then of course the addition of watercolour. ‘Flossie the milker ‘ is one of the cows I met when we had open farm Sunday, she was so inquisitive.

About REcreate-RebeccaEvansCreate
My name is Rebecca Evans, living in the New Forest I have been inspired to paint the many animals often seen around me. Having ridden since Childhood, painting equines was a natural path to follow.
I use a variety of media, watercolour, oil, charcoal, pastel, inks, plus a few more, infact I will try most things. Choosing the medium to work with can really change the effect of the art, and therefore the character of the animal. Sometimes it is an instant decision, sometimes it is the mood from within me which determines which medium I choose to use.
I never know what might inspire me next, but if itβs hairy, I will be sure to try.
She is beautiful!

“Flossie” is making me smile. From ear to ear as a matter of fact. You caught her inquisitiveness beautifully.

She’s lovely, and how impressive for a quick piece. Indeed, she does look as if she’s sizing things up – very nicely captured!

Lol Jacob I hadn’t thought about the alternative reasons for her stare….sizing me up, deciding which area of my body to head butt into, flipping me into the air….and charge! No really she was just too sweet, she was intrigued by the whirling of the SLR camera focus, π
