Arfter mucking out the ponies my daughter and I went out for a quick ride. The forest is very wet at the moment, so sticking to the tracks was the best option on our ride. We had the urge to stop and take a photo, as the low fog produced an Erie beauty, a carpet of white covering the forest floor….my daughter thought it looked good enough for a film set, our photos did not really capture the expanse and colour of the moment.

About REcreate-RebeccaEvansCreate
My name is Rebecca Evans, living in the New Forest I have been inspired to paint the many animals often seen around me. Having ridden since Childhood, painting equines was a natural path to follow.
I use a variety of media, watercolour, oil, charcoal, pastel, inks, plus a few more, infact I will try most things. Choosing the medium to work with can really change the effect of the art, and therefore the character of the animal. Sometimes it is an instant decision, sometimes it is the mood from within me which determines which medium I choose to use.
I never know what might inspire me next, but if itβs hairy, I will be sure to try.
great shots, made me think …. I might be up and riding too π

It was a beautiful morning Debi, so pleased you joined me on the morning ride π. I did wish I had my big digital camera, to capture the moment a little better, but on horse the mobile phone/camera is a great tool in pocket.
