About REcreate-RebeccaEvansCreate
My name is Rebecca Evans, living in the New Forest I have been inspired to paint the many animals often seen around me. Having ridden since Childhood, painting equines was a natural path to follow.
I use a variety of media, watercolour, oil, charcoal, pastel, inks, plus a few more, infact I will try most things. Choosing the medium to work with can really change the effect of the art, and therefore the character of the animal. Sometimes it is an instant decision, sometimes it is the mood from within me which determines which medium I choose to use.
I never know what might inspire me next, but if it’s hairy, I will be sure to try.
Beautiful.
You work fast.

Ahhhh, if only, I had four paintings, sat on my desk waiting to be finished for weeks, I loose motivation and start something new, then that also sits unfinished! They mount up! Eventually when I run out of space I am drawn to finish them, then I do a blitz of blog posts.

Every spare moment spent riding or painting, lots of late nights painting ( not much of a night life in the forest- or is it that I have forgotten what going out is about)?

Love that you chose the rabbit in motion. The work has the sense of a moment caught with a camera! Great work

Thank you, trying to paint something other than a hare today, the weather, yet again is horrible in the uk, so no horse riding on the forest today, instead a little painting in the warm. We have an aquatic store down the road from me, so decided to step away from my comfort zone and paint, in my opinion the most beautiful fish I saw ( turns out it’s a narky little beauty, and likes a good fight- so it lives alone in a tank, japenese fighter fish) feeling inspired 😀
