Today when I woke, I wished I lived in a hot country…..It is so cold, I had a lovely ride on Woody today, and for the first time there was ice on the puddles in the new forest, he smashed on through them( it wasn’t that thick, just a light covering).
feeling a little warmer after mucking out and riding, I went home to paint, thinking of those summer days, I abandoned my four in progress paintings ( all hares), opting for the little vision that goes with sunshine and flowers, a bee! We had lots of these busy workers this year,swarming,in many parts of the country. So before they are all a distant memory, my watercolour ‘Bee summer’

Thank you,…..Ahhhh, more summer reminders …. About to leave the warm house, for the cold yard and horses, I think I need a sun room in my house ( by that I mean a room with a false sun, sand,deck chairs, cocktails and HEAT.
