Wow, how wonderful, almost two solid days spent painting, apart from sorting the horses.
I did ride Tuesday, but today ( Wednesday) we – being my daughter and I, awoke to rain, so although ready for our planned ride, we abandoned and lunged all three undercover in the school ( small blessings).
so begins the painting, there is something quite wonderful about staying in,looking at the miserable day, through the window and planning to create something from this blank white sheet. One thing I did know was that the inks are in, this time maybe not so much black! Let’s just say I had fun. I wanted it to be relaxing so I stuck with hares and horses ( one horse was trashed) .

‘Looking at you’

About REcreate-RebeccaEvansCreate
My name is Rebecca Evans, living in the New Forest I have been inspired to paint the many animals often seen around me. Having ridden since Childhood, painting equines was a natural path to follow.
I use a variety of media, watercolour, oil, charcoal, pastel, inks, plus a few more, infact I will try most things. Choosing the medium to work with can really change the effect of the art, and therefore the character of the animal. Sometimes it is an instant decision, sometimes it is the mood from within me which determines which medium I choose to use.
I never know what might inspire me next, but if it’s hairy, I will be sure to try.
Nicely done! I love the work.

Thank you Debi, and for all your ‘likes’ this hare had gone wrong, but in the end I think I helped him out, and I was quite pleased, saved from the bin!
