Hi I have been a little busy with my daughters 18 th birthday celebrations, this has been added to with the recent cold weather and snow, making the horses slightly harder work. Consequently I have not been painting much, instead my head is buzzing with so many ideas to paint, I can’t write then down fast enough. Ideas that push me out of my comfort zones, different media, cityscapes, etc, I really am going to have a go, I am going to buy some gouache and have a play first I think.
here is the card I made for my daughter, after rolling the card on the 12 th candle, my hand hurt so much, I was pleased I could stop at 18! ( legal drinking age….. So Leah and her friend went out for cocktails)

Great look, but your hand will hurt rolling the card….. Top tip, stop for a coffee!

About REcreate-RebeccaEvansCreate
My name is Rebecca Evans, living in the New Forest I have been inspired to paint the many animals often seen around me. Having ridden since Childhood, painting equines was a natural path to follow.
I use a variety of media, watercolour, oil, charcoal, pastel, inks, plus a few more, infact I will try most things. Choosing the medium to work with can really change the effect of the art, and therefore the character of the animal. Sometimes it is an instant decision, sometimes it is the mood from within me which determines which medium I choose to use.
I never know what might inspire me next, but if it’s hairy, I will be sure to try.
