Christmas cards complete,32 individually painted mini watercolours.

Eventually I have finished these 32 watercolour cards, each individually painted,no two are the same. I must admit it took longer than I thought, especially with the additions of glittering and adding accents like holly and bows. All are now mounted onto card blanks, the only thing remaining is for me to write them before sending to the recipient.

About REcreate-RebeccaEvansCreate

My name is Rebecca Evans, living in the New Forest I have been inspired to paint the many animals often seen around me. Having ridden since Childhood, painting equines was a natural path to follow. I use a variety of media, watercolour, oil, charcoal, pastel, inks, plus a few more, infact I will try most things. Choosing the medium to work with can really change the effect of the art, and therefore the character of the animal. Sometimes it is an instant decision, sometimes it is the mood from within me which determines which medium I choose to use. I never know what might inspire me next, but if it’s hairy, I will be sure to try.

    • Thank you, yes they took longer than I thought, I started at the end of November, and did a little bit most evenings, in between painting a number of paintings for tiger yard ( previous post). It did get to the point that I thought ‘ will these get finished in time to post’ thank goodness for weekends 😀
