15#wordwatercolormonth -even less time to paint today,

I had even less time to paint today, so I am afraid I rushed this equine, and took little care over features, highlights and shadows. I used a combination of watercolour and the dylon fabric dye, on 140 lb cold press approx A4. Anyhow a fun pose, he sure is feeling the beat with his feet! Have a great day, and keep painting, whatever your medium 😀

About REcreate-RebeccaEvansCreate

My name is Rebecca Evans, living in the New Forest I have been inspired to paint the many animals often seen around me. Having ridden since Childhood, painting equines was a natural path to follow. I use a variety of media, watercolour, oil, charcoal, pastel, inks, plus a few more, infact I will try most things. Choosing the medium to work with can really change the effect of the art, and therefore the character of the animal. Sometimes it is an instant decision, sometimes it is the mood from within me which determines which medium I choose to use. I never know what might inspire me next, but if it’s hairy, I will be sure to try.

    • Thanks jodi, I was doing so well with time management and painting, we are on day 16 now and time is catching up, I hope to boost back into control over this weekend. Although painting quickly is not really a problem in itself, one hr can be OK, it’s when the mind is over run, and cluttered with poor time control, I then find the skill of painting is lost, last night that happened, terrible, over worked and instead of thinking where to put the paint first, I put it everywhere, however some beautiful background washes were created, so not all bad…..I will post my disaster, but before I post it, I will see if I can revive it to an acceptable painting by adding pastel, 😀
