Tom Hardy….feeling dotty!
A friend of mine was talking about Tom Hardy, now I don’t watch too many films, so as usual I had no idea who he was. Google is a wonderful thing, so I looked him up, he seems to be a very changeable character, and I can see why she is dotty about him. This is my dotty version!

My name is Rebecca Evans, living in the New Forest I have been inspired to paint the many animals often seen around me. Having ridden since Childhood, painting equines was a natural path to follow.
I use a variety of media, watercolour, oil, charcoal, pastel,inks, plus a few more, infact I will try most things. Choosing the medium to work with can really change the effect of the art, and therefore the character of the animal. Sometimes it is an instant decision, sometimes it is the mood from within me which determines which medium I choose to use.
I never know what might inspire me next, but if it’s hairy, I will be sure to try.

I love stippling and dot drawings. You did a great job capturing the essence of this man. A great sense of style and mood. Well done! The eyes are especially great!

Thank you Jenna, I thought the less is more technique was best for stippling, I must admit I nearly got frustrated and thought of adding in the odd line, cross hatch, but I found the stubborn side won!

Yes she does, I showed it to my daughter and asked if she knew who it was….. ‘ yes, it’s the dog walker’ she said, Mmmmm, I ask to to think again, as why would I paint our lovely dog walker. Second guess she got it right, phew.
