‘Lyric’ watercolour hare

A little painting relaxation required, here comes a hare, with lots of hair. I needed a little familiarity to paint, so what better than a hare. Not sure about the background, wish I had left it white, than I like it, then I hate it…..blah blah blah, what does it matter? It is what it is now, and it is a rather hectic hare called ‘Lyric’

About REcreate-RebeccaEvansCreate

My name is Rebecca Evans, living in the New Forest I have been inspired to paint the many animals often seen around me. Having ridden since Childhood, painting equines was a natural path to follow. I use a variety of media, watercolour, oil, charcoal, pastel, inks, plus a few more, infact I will try most things. Choosing the medium to work with can really change the effect of the art, and therefore the character of the animal. Sometimes it is an instant decision, sometimes it is the mood from within me which determines which medium I choose to use. I never know what might inspire me next, but if it’s hairy, I will be sure to try.

Yes I agree: background is good. I hope he eludes his pursuer! (K.)

    • Thank you gretal, I have had a quick look at some of your poetry, wow, such talent, I love ‘response’ made me stop and think. Was gone midnight, so after work today I will have a browse of your poetic skill ( something I have never had a twinkle of ability for, but admire others who can)
